Tynisha Keli Soares was born on Juli 28, 1985 in New Badford, Massachusetts. She is a R&B and Pop-Singer/Songwriter. She has portuguese ancestry and she grew up from a poor background. Her father was murdered when she was 8 years old. She left home at a young age for her music career. Her career began when she got with 15 a record deal by MCA Records with her girlgroup "Gyrlz Society". Unfortunatly the record label didn't see any success of the girlgroup for the future, so the release for the album was cancelled and the band disbanded and went their own way. And so Tynisha try again a career as a solo artist. A few years later in 2006, she got a new record deal with Warner Bros. Records (Ashley Tisdale, Cher) and had the chance to work with the most successful songwriter and Ex-American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi on the album. DioGuardi wrote three songs for Tynisha (Lights Out, Lullabye, Walls Up). For her debut album The Chronicles of Tk, she worked with talented producers like Tha Cornaboyz (Keri Hilson, Ciara), J.R. Rotem (Rihanna, Sean Kingston, Jason Derulo), Rico Love (Shakira, Kelly Rowland), Robin Thicke (Jennifer Hudson). Her first single "I Wish You Loved Me" was released in September 2007 on iTunes and the corresponding music video released next year in 2008. The single failed in the US-Billboard Hot 100 and debuted only in Japan on number 25. Her first album The Chronicles of Tk was released April 2009. By a few support of Warner the album was only released in Japan and peaked number 12 on the Oricon Album Charts with more than 600,000 copies . Her second single from her debut album, Shatter'd debuted at number 4 on the Japan Hot 100. And thus Tynisha celebrated her big success in Japan. In the same year she recorded with the Japanese singer Beni the 90s song "The Boy Is Mine" (Original performer: Brandy & Monica). She also got a cameo role in the musical remake movie Fame, where she sings in the cafeteria the track This Is My Life. After the small failure in the U.S. and deficient support, Tynisha confirmed that she wants to leave her record label Warner Bros Records and the label released her from the contract in early 2010. In January 2010, the singer confirmed that she's already working on a second album. Later she confirmed that the new album will be call The 5th Element which is set to release in summer. For the second album she worked with Tha Cornaboyz who already have worked on her first album. The singer try to have success not only in the U.S. and Japan but also in Europe. The first single of her new album called Next Time, the song was written and produced by Tha Cornaboyz. In mid 2010 it was confirmed, that she have a new contract by the Independent label Eight72 Entertainment founded by Tha Cornaboyz. In July, she re-recorded in Japan with the Japanese singer Coma-Chi a song called "Love Hurts" formerly called "Worst Enemy" and the video was shot in Japan. In late July, the second single "The Right Way" produced by Tha Cornaboyz was released on iTunes. Her single with Coma-Chi peaked number 1 at the International Master Ringtone Download Chart and Mobile Single Download Chart and it's her first number 1 song. In an interview she describes her album as a Feel-Good album and said that her fifth element is LOVE. The album debuted at number 36 on the Oricon Album Charts and number 1 on iTunes. Her second single The Right Way peaked number 1 at the International Master Ringtone Download Chart and Mobile Single Download Chart and is her second number single in Japan. |
